Like every website and business we have our own terms and conditions, set up to give you the best shopping experience and keep you safe while shopping with us.

Below is information on Returns, Faulty Items and Other Issues that from time to time do happen.

Making a Purchase
Making a purchase on the site could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue and click on the item you wish to buy and add it to your shopping cart. You can then carry on looking for other items or checkout. If you wish to remove any items in your basket simply click remove.
We also accept telephone orders and accept all major credit cards. Simply phone us on 01751 472202 between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri and we will be happy to help.
Our sales helpline (for sales related matters only) is open from 9.00am - 5:00pm  Mon-Fri,  just give us a call if you would prefer to talk to a human being before you place your order as we realise some people prefer to do it the old fashioned way.
Shipping and Handling
We currently only ship to mainland UK. Our postage is calculated for each individual order which gives you the best price possible. When you checkout you will see the postage cost for your order based on its weight. With prices starting from as little as £1.99 we are confident you will be happy with the price. For Ireland and the Highlands of Scotland please get in touch for a quote on your order.
We also are willing to take international orders but you must get in contact first so we can arrange a carrier.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to despatch all orders received within 1 business day, however during busy times this can be 2 - 3 days. Orders are sent by the quickest and most economical method and should be with you in 3 - 5 days, however it can sometimes be faster than this. Please allow up to 14 days for your order to arrive, however feel free to contact us before hand if you are worried about your parcel. An email will be sent when your order is dispatched which will give you an idea of a delivery date. Next day and Large orders can be arranged but please get in contact first. You are responsible for supplying a suitable delivery address, as some delivies may require a signiture.
Back Orders and Stock Shortages
Our site is updated daily, however sometimes mistakes can be made and during busy periods stock levels can change quickly. However if you order an item which is out of stock we shall notify you as soon as we process your order and give an estimate for a delivery date. If you do not wish to have the item any more a full refund will be offered.
Tax and VAT
All are prices on the site are inclusive of VAT
Credit Card Security
Payment online is securely supplied by Paypal. They use up to date security technology and encrypt all details. No details are made viewable to us, other than the details needed to dispatch the order. We will never pass on your details to a third party company. How Will We Package Your Order
Great care is taken to make sure you receive your order in the same good condition it leaves our dispatch unit. We always try to reuse and recycle our packaging and play are part in helping the environment. We use bubble wrap and other packing material to make sure your order is kept safe while in transit.
Privacy Policy
Simple DIY will not share information with third parties that you give us via an order or by setting up an account.

Returns Policy
We offer a 14 day money back promise return policy. 
That means if for any reason you no longer require the goods or are not happy with them, then they can be returned to us for a refund.
All goods are returned at the cost of the customer. All items must be exactly as received, unused, unopened and in retail packaging, suitable for resale. All goods are checked upon arrival and inspected. Any order returned that is not in a salable condition or with parts missing will not be refunded in full,
All returns are the responsibility of the customer until the goods arrive at the returns department. For this reason we recommend you use recorded delivery if this is of concern to you. All goods that are returned should be accompanied with an invoice and a note with a reason for the return, along with any other information that will help us deal with the return swiftly.
Before an order is returned you must first get in touch to arrange a return. This is best done via email so we have a record. Any return carried out without following any of this procedure runs the risk of been refused and not refunded.

Postage Pricing
We offer three services; Fast delivery 1 to 3 day service or Economy delivery 3 to 5 day service or 48 hour Delivery*. The price for fast delivery is slightly more expensive than economy but ensures your parcel arrives quickly. If you need your order faster or require tracking please get in touch before you order.
 
Our system works on weight so that we can offer you the best price possible for shipping your goods. This means if you only want to order some cleaning cloths then you will only pay for the cost of sending them out i.e £1.95. 
 
The maximum you will pay is £8.95 unless you choose the 48 hour option. You can order as much as you want and you will still be charged the same rate of £8.95. *Some extra large items like sheds or extra heavy items may require a pallet service which will cost more. You will always be told and contacted if needed if this is the case.

When it comes to setting a postage cost we keep it as near as possible to the actual cost, this way you don’t end up paying more than necessary. Because the postage is set up in this way it allows you to buy more but still keep the same great value on postage. 
 
48 Hour Delivery*
We offer this service for customers who need our products as quickly as possible. In order for your item to arrive within 48 hours the order must be placed before 12 noon. This service is not guaranteed and we will not be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier agent or the customer not being in for delivery.

Free Delivery
We offer free delivery for any orders over £35. The total must equal £35.00inc VAT prior to any shipping cost, the discount will then be given automatically. Free shipping only applys to the most econimical method of shipping. Your goods will arrive within 3-5 working days.
